Ellen Degenerous has a few new shows in the works including “Finding Einstein”.

The new show is part of her deal with HBOMax which, according to online reports includes 3 other shows.

The show is described as an inspirational documentary television series that seems to have the blessing of the Einstein Estate. In the docu-series, the show will try to find the best minds across the world encompassing a wide variety of fields which include the sciences and the arts. “Finding Einstein” will focus on young geniuses which represent the new generation of what they are calling “Einsteins.” The show is geared as an exploration and celebration of this younger generation that will also attempt at offering support and awareness for their various endeavors and fields.

NBC’s “Chicago Fire” is in production of the new 2019 / 2020 season


Chicago Fire” is produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, the same man that is behind the very popular “Law and Order” franchise. “Chicago Fire” is now filming the new season in …. you guessed it, the Chicago area.  The show follows the lives of the men and women who work at the fictional firehouse 51. The high octane drama gives viewers a glimpse into the lives of firefighters, paramedics and rescue workers who put their lives on the line on a daily basis. The successful show launched a spin-off  called “Chicago P.D.“ a few years back followed by another spin-off  “Chicago Med.” This past year, NBC launched a 4th Chicago series, “Chicago Justice.”

That series is also currently in production in the Chicago area as are the other 3 NBC Chicago shows.

The North Star is about a famous real-life abolitionist’s time as a slave during his adolescence.

The ambitious project The North Star, which will be shot between November 22, 2019 and November 25, 2019, we are looking for a female, black actress, 25-30 years old, to play the role of Esther, a young slave who betrays her master. Also, we are looking for black men, who are 25-30 years old, to play African and African-American slaves as extras.

This short film is about a famous real-life abolitionist’s time as a slave during his adolescence; he was a true American icon who is credited with originating the abolitionist movement. Esther’s scene is an intense one and will require much skill in performance.


We have two casting calls, one for extras and one for the role of Esther.

Multiple paid roles for short film with a commercial purpose

This is a 90 second hort story with a commercial purpose, written and produced directly by Pleasant Studios.
The project is partly live action and partly a 3D computer generated environment.
All parts, except the goblin, have spoken lines.

All roles are paid. Reasonable travel costs would be covered.
Filming will be in Edmonton, and consisting of 1 day in October or November 2019.
Auditions will be held both via video-conference and live in Edmonton in October 2019.

  • Business Woman: appearing to be late 20’s, a corporate spokeswoman delivering official public relations statements, but clearly insincere and hiding something.
  • Goblin: 3D generated character, very expressive facial acting, will be motion captured for the facial expressions.
  • Other Roles: please note that we have many dozens of other parts coming up in other projects, we welcome all actors or performers to get on our list for the other roles.
  • Ethnic Groups: We will be filming multiple versions of this story with different ethnicities. At a minimum, one family will be Caucasian with neutral American accents, one Hispanic with
